ELIGIBILITY: The “Q13 FOX Big Bang Theory Flyaway” Sweepstakes (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of Washington, who are twenty-one (21) years or older at the time of entry. All contestants must be able to prove residency and age upon request. Void where prohibited by law.

Employees, temporary employees, independent contractors and interns of Snoqualmie Casino (the “Prize Contributor”), KCPQ, Tribune Broadcasting, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, and partners (collectively “Contest Providers”), the immediate family members of, and any persons living with, any such employees are not eligible to enter or to win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.

HOW TO ENTER:   You may enter online by visiting www.q13fox.com and clicking on the “contest” button on the home page. Participant must complete all required information, and following all posted instructions, including these Official Rules.  Your entry must include your name, e-mail address, telephone number, mailing address and Snoqualmie Casino Crescent Club membership number.  Non-Crescent Club members can register for a free membership at the Snoqualmie Casino located at 37500 SE North Bend Way Snoqualmie, WA 98065. No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted.  ONE ENTRY PER PERSON FOR THE DURATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES All entries must be received by the posted deadlines (see DEADLINES below). Second mode of entry - Participants may also enter onsite at Snoqualmie Casino on September 23, 2013, between 6p-8p at the Q13 FOX table which will be set up in from of the Mist Bar inside the Casino.

DEADLINES: The Contest begins at 6 am PT on September 9, 2013 and ends at 8 pm PT on September 23, 2013 (the “Promotional Period”). No entries received after the Promotional Period deadline, for any reason, will be accepted. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of the Contest will be Belo’s server machine(s) located in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone. Contestants entering close to the posted deadline do so with this information in mind. 

No responsibility is assumed by the Contest Providers for lost, late, misdirected, or non-functional submissions or for any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. Online entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of submission. "Authorized account holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries become the property of Contest Providers and will not be returned to the Participant. Multiple entries by the same person on a single day, including a person using one or more email accounts, will result in disqualification. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified with a natural person by appropriate independent means, including but not limited to reverse domain name search. Potential winners may be requested to provide Contest Providers with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.  Potential winners must also have a free, active membership in the Snoqualmie Casino Crescent Club program (see “how to enter” for instructions on obtaining a free membership).

ODDS OF WINNING: One winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZE:

Each winner will receive: roundtrip airfare for 2 from Seattle (SeaTac International) to Los Angeles (LAX) 2 nights (double occupancy) hotel accommodations for 2 at (need hotel information), admission for 2 to a live in-studio taping of the Big Bang Theory.   

Guest and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary. Travel and taping dates for the Grand Prize Trip will be determined by Sponsor at its sole discretion.   

Travel must be redeemed on the dates determined by Sponsor.  Travel arrangements are subject to availability, holiday, blackout dates and other restrictions. Prizes are non-transferable.  If a Winner is unable to redeem any portion of a prize, the Prize or the unredeemed portions of such prize(s) shall be forfeited and no alternate prize will be awarded, nor will an alternate Winner be selected.

 ARV: $1400.00

The Winner is solely responsible for the reporting and payment of all federal, state and local taxes incurred by acceptance and use of the prize (or any portion thereof).  An IRS Form 1099 will be issued for all prizes with a retail value in excess of $600. Contest Providers reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or comparable value in the event a described prize, or any portion thereof, is unavailable for any reason whatsoever.

WINNER SELECTION: Winner selection will take place after the end of the Promotional Period on September 23, 2013 at Snoqualmie Casino:  37500 SE North Bend Way Snoqualmie, WA 98065. The winner will be selected by a random drawing from all qualified entries received by the deadline. Winner selection will be made by Contest Providers, whose decision shall be final. Contest winner does not need to be present to win.The contest winner will be notified by e-mail or phone. If a winner is unreachable after two (2) business days, an alternate winner will be selected by a random drawing from the remaining qualified entries. In order to be named the winner, potential winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance Form/Release of liability upon accepting a prize. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.

USE OF CONTEST INFORMATION: Notwithstanding any contrary provision in any of Contest Providers' respective privacy policies, contestants grant to Contest Providers, and Contest Providers reserve, the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information provided by participants in connection with the Contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Contest Providers, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or any prize won. Restrictions, conditions and limitations apply.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

By entering, entrants grant to KCPQ an unlimited, non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license to publish entry submissions in any medium now known or hereafter invented, in perpetuity. KCPQ reserves the right (but is not obligated) to post entry submissions online at www/q13fox.com or broadcast the entry materials on KCPQ.

If for any reason, the Internet-related portion of this contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the contest, KCPQ reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify, or suspend the contest or any portion of the contest. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CONTEST. Information submitted in Internet entries, including entrant's name, address, e-mail address, etc., may be used by KCPQ for marketing or promotional purposes.

Sponsor is not responsible and shall not be liable for: any failure of transportation; bad directions; or any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by Entrant’s participation in the Contest. The Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guaranty, express or implied, by Sponsor. All entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent companies and affiliates, and each of their respective employees, representatives, sponsors and advertisers, from any and all liability, loss, damage, costs, causes of action or claims related to any allegation regarding participation in the Contest and any travel therein, the award, the receipt, or the use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, defamation, infringement of intellectual property rights, and claims based on the rights of publicity or privacy Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing or advertising of the offer, administration or execution of the contest or in the announcements of the prizes/prize winners. Neither the failure of Sponsor to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Official Rules or the failure, delay or omission by Sponsor in exercising any right with respect to any term of these Official Rules, will be construed as a waiver or relinquishment to any extent of each Sponsor’s right to assert or rely upon any such provision or right in that or any other instance.

Sponsor reserves the right to delay contest announcements, postpone or reschedule all or some of the contest events, and/or modify contest deadlines at its sole discretion. Any such changes will be announced and posted on KCPQ website at www.q13fox.com.

By participating in this contest, entrants (i) agree to have their names, photographs, voices, biographical information, likenesses, entry submissions (including the video and essay) used in any and all media for promotional purposes relating to this contest or future similar contests without further compensation or notice, except as prohibited by law; and (ii) represent that they agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges and Sponsor.

These Official Rules shall be governed, construed and enforced pursuant to the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to the choice of law provisions thereof.
